One of the more recent techniques I learned is Faux Felt. (any of the techniques I mentioned are from the Technique Junkies Newsletter).
This one I cut a circle with a Sizzix die, then did the Faux Felt technique on it. I stamped the "felt" using Stampin Up's Soft & Sweet set, then mounted it on a paper doily by Wilton.
The flowers are from Stampin Up's Elegant Embroidery set.

The background on this is ghost stamping with Stampin Up's Hearts & Posies set.
The foreground image is from Nice & Easy Notes. I bought it off E-Bay and the seller included an already stamped image from the set. I just colored it, then mounted it on the background I had left over from another project.
As with most of the techniques on my cards, I learned this from Technique Junkies.
The stamps are from the Stampin Up! retired set Hearts & Posies. The words were stamped with Versamark and brushed with Pearl Ex.
This is an older card, before I learned how to cut a straighter edge with decorative scissors.

This card was done with the technique called Faux Hammered Metal. I did a lot of different Faux Hammered Metal backgrounds. This one was done by mixing copper Pearl-Ex into Lumiere paint, coating the card stock and embossing with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. Others I've done with gold or silver glossy cardstock and pigment ink, but I like this one best.

This is a card I made quite a while ago. I love glitter. I used a technique from the Technique Junkie's Newsletter called the glitter puzzle.
The card stock is a glossy silver that I don't remember where I got it.
The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set I no longer own and also can't remember the name of. I stamped and embossed it on vellum and adhered it with eyelets and ribbon.
