Sock Monkey

The April Card of the Month theme is drink swords. My son got me two of them when he went out for karaoke. I thought it needed to be used with the SU Sock Monkey. I love sock monkeys. I have one in my room.

This one is stamped on a piece of faux suede and colored with chalks.

Cupcake Lottery

As I was trying to sleep last night, the creative monkeys in my brain put this layout in to my head.

I had some bg paper that was made for 6x6 pages. It had both the stripes and the words ready to cut apart. I had two sheets of it, and so got 4 cards out of the two sheets.

The frames for the image were cut using my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 3 set. I'm getting good at getting them cut in my Sizzix, but need more practice embossing them. The cupcake is from an old SU Sell-A-Bration set called Just for Fun.

April Monday Mailer 1

The April Monday Mailer theme on Stamper's Corner is Purple.

I had this lovely purple bg paper just screaming to be used.

I also had to try out one of my new stamps sets I got this month. It is Stampin Up's Sell A Bration set Botanical Blooms.

Time

This was done for a COTM where the theme was time. I used a time background paper and chocolate chip card stock. The stamp set is SU's Antique Collectibles.

Seragraph Technique

Can you tell I like flowers? Especially roses. This is SU's Rose Rhapsody set again, done in blues, mounted on silver glossy cs.

Congrats is SU's Favorite Greetings.

Smackin Acetate

This was done with a Technique Junkies background called Smackin' Acetate. I love the soft cloudy background it gave using Tempting Turquoise and Positively Pink markers.

Stamp set is SU's Soft & Sweet.

More rainbow silk

Done with another piece of rainbow colored faux silk and stamped with a rainbow pad using SU's Rose Rhapsody set.
